Materials
Fabric
We stock a broad assortment of fabrics for designers and hobbyists to create with. There are many weights and weaves to choose from in addition to soft leather that can be used in both fashion and jewelry designs.
Paper
Paper allows for very intricate and fine detail. Cut properly, thinner paper yields minimal burning along the cut edges and can appear lace-like. Thicker paper stock is a good, economic choice for templates and model making.
Plastic
We stock acrylic-based materials that cut with minimal burning or melting. The thinner the sheet stock, the greater the detail possible. Plastic offers good rigidity and can be easily painted.
Rubber
Rubber provides great flexibility and can be used for gaskets, shims and soft model parts. We stock a neoprene rubber that contains no polyvinyl chlorides in both black and white.
Wood
Wood is a natural and versatile substrate. The edges cut smoothly and darken considerably after laser cutting, providing depth to your design. We are able to offer a variety of finishes and thicknesses that can be be stained and/or clear coated after cutting.
